About Us
Ashdeen Z Lilaowala
Ashdeen Z Lilaowala is an award-winning textile designer, author and curator known for his research, revival & contemporisation of the Parsi Gara. Above all, he considered himself a keeper of stories and a steward of Parsi and Zoroastrian culture. Lilaowala has collaborated with several luxury textile, lifestyle and jewellery brands. He has designed exclusive collections for Good Earth, Ekaya, Kanakavalli and a carpet line for Obeetee. A graduate of textile design from the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, his book Threads of Continuity – The Zoroastrian Craft of Kusti Weaving on the vanishing Zoroastrian craft was published in 2013.
