The preciousness of the French Knot technique is evident in this painstakingly hand-embroidered sari. The finely wrought knots, that almost look like delicate pearls, have been lovingly fashioned into vines sprouting an abundance of chrysanthemums and peonies along the border, and a generous sprinkling of kanda-papeta butis adorn the body.
This particular sari comes in two colour ways. You may remember seeing an aubergine version on our feed earlier. This version with ivory embroidery on an emerald green base is particularly close to our hearts.
